Keeping die design, die build and part production in-house results in an easier to manage and more robust project life cycle. Sometimes what looks good in a CAD drawing isn't practical to manufacture.

Understanding this, our design engineers work hand-in-hand with our toolmakers and our press operators so that everyone involved with the manufacture of your tooling as well as the production of your components has a clear understanding of design intent. Our engineers use the latest versions of Autocad and Inventor software and our design department translates seamlessly with ProE and Catia.

A business's success is a direct reflection of the caliber of its employees and our tooling department is no exception. Our current team of 11 master toolmakers provides unrivaled experience. We don't take shortcuts. We don't float our punches. If our stripper plate clearance is 2 tenths then our punch holder clearance is 2 tenths.

Our pilots are ground to have zero tolerance in the strip and we generally build a 3 plate tool. When part geometry necessitates a bridge stripper we always employ sprung stripper inserts and we use ISO DIN guide elements by Agathon exclusively. In short, when you deal with us you can feel confident that some of the most qualified and experienced toolmakers anywhere are building your tooling.

Our wire room is cutting edge. Our Charmilles 2030 twin wire is capable of cutting tolerances as small as .0001" and because it employs 2 wires at the same time we are able to literally cut our wire time in half.
